This course will enable you to receive a Diploma in Clinical and Advanced Hypnosis. Upon successful completion you will achieve all of the following:
- Diploma in Clinical and Advanced Hypnosis
- Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma
- NLP Practitioner Certificate
- Specialist Certificate in Smoking Cessation
- Specialist Certificate in Treating Anxiety
- Ericksonian Hypnotherapy Practitioner Certificate
This means that you will be able to start up immediately with all the skills and knowledge that you need to build a successful practice!

The National Council for Hypnotherapy
The National Council for Hypnotherapy holds one of the largest registers of independent Hypnotherapists in the United Kingdom (over 1,500) and strives to maintain the highest standards amongst its members. Via the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) the NCH are actively involved in shaping the standards and future of the hypnotherapy profession.
The National Society of Talking Therapies
The NSTT is the membership arm of our sister school, the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy. Students of the UK Academy can have free student membership of the NSTT and graduates can have their first year as a full member free. The NSTT also holds an annual conference which is always an exciting and enjoyable learning experience!
What is the course duration?
Our course, which equates to 120 taught hours, is offered by attending either:
- Monthly: 1 weekend per month over 10 months- Saturday & Sunday (10am-4pm)
- Weekly: 40 weeks 5pm-9pm
In addition to the taught course hours you will be expected to carry out further reading and practice in your time. It is recommended that you allow at least 3 hours per week to do so.

Who is your tutor?
Where is the course held?
The course is held just outside Newport, South Wales (just a 5 minute drive from Junction 28 of the M4).
How is work assessed?
Throughout the course you will carry out practical sessions and will receive helpful feedback. After each section it is recommended that you complete a self-reflection journal (an exemplar will be shared with you). Throughout the course you will update a portfolio which will demonstrate your learning and this will be reviewed 3 times during the course with helpful feedback provided.
What will the size of the group be?
To maximise opportunities for learning the group size will be a maximum of 6 people.
How much does the course cost?
The cost of the course is £2,675 which includes your student registration fees for both the National College of Hypnotherapists and National Society of Talking Therapists. A 10% discount will be given to students who pay for their fees in full prior to the course start date. Alternatively, if you would prefer to spread the cost payments can be made over 10 months which will be payable 7 days before each course date via bank transfer, card or cash.
